Digital Reader brings comics to the PSP this December
After trotting out a mess of new information about PlayStation Home earlier today in Germany, SCEE prez Andrew House announced Sony’s upcoming digital comics initiative on the PSP, the Digital Reader. According to House, Sony has worked out plans with Marvel to launch with “hundreds available, including the Marvel Comics stable.”
Additionally, the service will give PSP-owning comic fans access to Archie and Image comics. Unfortunately, he didn’t specify if the service will be a free firmware upgrade to the existing PSP software or pricing for the comics themselves. But alas, GamesCom has just started! We’ll poke around and see if we can get some more information as soon as the Sony press conference ends.

Some of the biggest names in mobile technology are girding for battle against BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIMM) and iPhone creator Apple (AAPL).
Later this year, Google (GOOG) and partners that include handset maker Motorola (MOT) plan devices and features aimed at business users of mobile phones. Meantime, Nokia (NOK) and Microsoft (MSFT) are joining forces in their effort to take share in the lucrative market for company-friendly smartphones.
The moves are aimed mainly at RIM, the U.S. leader in smartphones for businesses, and defending against a rising threat from Apple and Palm (PALM). In July, RIM accounted for 34% of smartphone sales in the stores of the largest U.S. wireless service providers, and it boasted the most popular smartphone on the market, the BlackBerry Curve, according to research by Avian Securities.

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has turned to architecture to find a semblance of peace in his hectic lifestyle.
The superstar who is also an avid art collector said that he turned to architecture to get away from his stressful life, reported Parade magazine.
“Years later you come back around to what interested you as a boy. Now, if I have something that I’m dealing with that’s causing me a lot of stress, my mind goes to architecture. I walk around the yard and start thinking about what I need to do to the house structurally,” said Pitt.
The 45-year-old actor says he found a new path for himself when, in 1995, he bought a historic property in West Los Angeles that needed work and, by restoring it, discovered his love of architecture and design.

‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson’s brain has finally been reunited with his body, prompting speculation that the pop icon will be laid to
rest soon.
The ‘Thriller’ hitmaker who died seven weeks ago after a suspected cardiac arrest, had his brain surgically removed for testing, but the organ has now been replaced in his body.
Morticians at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills, where the pop legend will be laid to rest in an unmarked grave, are now preparing his body for burial, reported Daily Mail online.
The burial was not expected to include any formal ceremony and would probably only be attended by two family members who will act as witnesses.
Jackson will be buried in an anonymous plot after his family decided against a Graceland-like memorial at Jackson’s Neverland ranch near Santa Barbara, California.
